Natural England has a wide remit with regard to the countryside, wildlife and marine conservation, and access to a large and diverse audience.
Our brand offers emotional and patriotic resonance with the beautiful English countryside, and there are a wide range of marketing and sponsorship opportunities from national to very local. Many of our programmes have never been sponsored before, so this offers a unique and untapped opportunity for businesses that share our vision.

These are a few examples of programmes and assets where we’re interested in attracting commercial sponsorship:
National Nature Reserves – Natural England is responsible for the management of 222 National Nature Reserves visited by 5 million people a year. We are currently enhancing the access and accessibility of a number of the most highly visited reserves and are actively seeking sponsorship for better visitor facilities, information provision and interpretation at these sites.
National Trails – Natural England looks after the 13 National Trails, which are long-distance routes for walking, cycling or horse-riding through the finest landscape in England and Wales. Our National Trails website
is one of the Times Top 100 travel sites and 30,000 people are registered on the site for regular Trails updates.
Coastal Access – the Marine and Coastal Access bill will enable Natural England to create a continuous walking route around the coast of England. This new, National Trail standard route will enable the public to access the coast with confidence, and enjoy some changing and frequently dramatic landscapes/seascapes.
Conferences – we organise a number of specialist conferences every year, on subjects such as climate change adaptation, marine protected areas, green infrastructure in cities and towns.
