Nature on the Map
Our online mapping application is straightforward to use and provides access to England's National and Local Nature Reserves, agri-environment scheme agreements, protected sites such as Sites of Special Scientific Interest, and Biodiversity Action Plan habitats. Links through to other information sources are available for some types of features.
MAGIC (Mullti-Agency Geographic Information for the Countryside)
The first web-based interactive map to bring together information on a multitude of key environmental schemes and designations in one place. This is a Defra partnership project involving six government organisations.

GIS Digital Boundary Datasets - Describing protected sites, habitats, and some other kinds of information, these can be downloaded either in 100km tiles for the larger datasets or as national datasets covering all of England.
