19 July 2010
Start the summer holidays off with some fun at Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe Dune National Nature Reserve (NNR), as Natural England hosts free creative events for children of all ages.
On Sunday 25 July children can come along to the reserve where they will get to make masks of their favourite wildlife creature and on Thursday 29 July children will get to hunt out animal tracks (wellies required) and make plaster casts out of them.
Both events will start at 2.00pm from the Rimac Car Park and last one and half to two hours. Both events are funded by Natural England and pre-booking is not required. The events are suitable for children of all ages and are part of Natural England’s Let’s Go Wild events, which will be held throughout the year at Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe Dunes NNR, as it celebrates the International Year of Biodiversity.
The events are designed to teach children of all ages about wildlife, all equipment will be provided and children must be accompanied by an adult.
